Dinosaurs tell banks - “stop funding extinction!”

Friday 29 October

On Friday 29 October 2021, at 10am outside Bristol’s main branch of Barclays in Broadmead, Extinction Rebellion (XR) and Youth Climate Strikers will protest Barclays’ continuing contribution to the climate crisis.

Taking place just a few days before COP26, the protest will be a visually dramatic memorial to those already affected by the funding of devastating projects such as those in the Amazon rainforest. It will include dinosaurs dressed as bankers wandering amongst shrouded bodies of people and trees.

This is part of a global wave of actions targeting financial centres in more than 50 cities worldwide, demanding they #DefundClimateChaos.
